Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwickwas born on August 19, 1965 is an American actress. Her role as the main character in TNT's crime drama The Closer as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson is her most well-known. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson and also an Emmy Award 2010 for her portrayal. The seventh season of the series concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick's performance as Madeline Wuntch in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine is also noteworthy. Sedgwick was nominated for an Golden Globe award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) The cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish. Her dad was Episcopalian of English descent. Sedgwick claims to be Jewish and says she goes to Passover seders.
