Lara Logan

 Lara Logan, born 29/03/71 was an South African television journalist and war reporter. She was a correspondent for CBS News between 2002 and 2018.60 Minutes executive producer Jeff Fager called her factually inaccurate and politically slanted report about the 2012 Benghazi attack "the worst mistake on my 10-year-watch." In 2019, she joined Sinclair Broadcast Group, which is a conservative media company. The company was acquired by Fox Nation in January 2020. Fox News runs the subscription streaming service. She claimed that she was "dumped by the company" in March 2022. Logan worked as a news reporter for the Sunday Tribune in Durban during her studies (1988-1989) as well as in the city's Daily News (1990-1992). In 1992, she joined Reuters Television Africa, primarily as a senior producer. After four years, she decided to branch out into freelance journalism and was appointed as an editor/reporter, reporter and editor/producer for Fox/SKY, Fox/SKY and CBS News, ABC News (in London), NBC and the European Broadcasting Union. CNN hired her to cover about such events as the 1998 United States Embassy bombings in Nairobi, Tanzania and the conflict in Northern Ireland.
